RARE GERBER BOXED ABERCROMBIE & FITCH, 8 PIECE MIMING KNIFE SET, c. 1940’S,
8 3/8” MIMING STEAK KNIVES, with 3” flat ground straight blades. One piece long contoured solid aluminum alloy handles, stamped on one side with “MIMING” and on the other side very small (early) “GERBER.” This rare eight (8) piece set comes in a solid American walnut box in outstanding condition, with “Abercrombie & Fitch Co.-New York” plastic label affixed to the inside front cover. The outside front cover has “Gerber Legendary Blades” stamp, which is indicative of an early box, as the maker’s information is normally on the underside of the box.
