SCARCE GERBER BOXED BALMUNG CARVING KNIFE, c. 1940-50’S,
13 ¾” BALMUNG CARVING KNIFE, 8 ½” with flat ground straight 440-C stainless steel bright finish blade. The blade is full, without patina, with a very few tiny sharpening marks. One piece cast aluminum alloy handle with “BALMUNG” on one side and “GERBER-10” on the other. This knife comes in a fine solid American walnut box with “GERBER LEGENDARY BLADES” stamp outside underneath. The box is fully intact, with light wear and marks. The inside is lined with maroon colored velour, which is 99% intact.
