SCARCE GERBER BOXED DURENDAL SLICER KNIFE, c. 1940-50’S,
11 ¼” DURENDAL SLICING KNIFE, with 6” flat ground straight 440-C stainless steel bright finish blade. The blade appears full, without patina, with some evidence of light sharpening, with some light scratches. One piece cast aluminum alloy handle with “DURENDAL” on one side and “GERBER-12” on the other. This knife comes in a fine solid American walnut box with “GERBER LEGENDARY BLADES” stamp outside underneath. The inside is lined with maroon colored velour, which is mostly intact.
